San Antonio is located deep in the heart of Texas . The city is filled with the spirit of Texas and where you will encounter and taste a piece of Mexico . You will want to take some time to visit the Alamo and the famous Riverwalk area.
The group will be partnering with a ministry called Blood N Fire. They reach out in the city to the poor through many different ministries. Opportunities may include VBS, sports evangelism, food and clothe distribution, light construction on homes, community outreaches, prayerwalks, and sports evangelism.
Transportation
Groups may drive to the project site or fly into San Antonio International Airport . Air and ground transportation during the week is not provided by ChildReach. You must provide your own transportation. We suggest that you bring or rent vans instead of using large busses.
Lodging
Your group will be staying at a local church just 15 minutes away. The participants will be sleeping in a gym in two large areas on the floor. You will need to bring your own air mattress, pillow and bedding.
