The windy city is one of the largest cities in the US and hosts to many different ethnic groups. We partner with several churches and inner city organizations that are reaching out and meeting needs in their communities.
The group during the week will be reaching out and ministering to the poor of this great city. Opportunities may include VBS, sports evangelism, block parties, homeless feedings, park ministry, light construction, community outreaches, prayerwalks, nursing home visitation and sports evangelism.
Transportation
Groups may drive to the project site or fly into either Midway or O'Hare Airports. Air and ground transportation during the week is not provided by ChildReach. You must provide your own transportation. We suggest that you bring or rent vans instead of using large busses.
Lodging
Your group will be staying either at a local church or ministry. The participants will be sleeping in two large areas on the floor. You will need to bring your own air mattress, pillow and bedding.
